Paddlefish

That’s a lot of caviar

Paddlefish

Weighing in at 117.5 pounds and measuring 54.5 inches long, this paddlefish caught by Frannie resident Paul Muller is the biggest one ever brought to the intake station in Glendive, Mont., according to Muller and his brothers, who take an annual trip to snag paddlefish on the Yellowstone River near Sidney, Mont. Snagged in the river by a cast hook, Muller said the fish contained 27 pounds of caviar, which was donated to the intake station.
