Call it a free garage sale or a “free market” (rather than flea market), but local churches are gathering together this Saturday for a “Day of Good Will” in Lovell.
Families are invited to “shop for free” from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lovell LDS Gymnasium next to TCT West on Shoshone Avenue.
The idea is to help families and people who might need school or family clothes or a small appliance.
Rides can be provided to those in need by calling Susan at 548-2809 or 272-2037, Lyman at 548-7673 or Mike Steenbakkers at 548-6789.
Folks wishing to contribute new or “gently used” clothes in good condition or working small appliances to the Day of Good Will may take them to the gym between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, Aug. 24-26.
To arrange for items to be picked up or for any other questions, call any of the above numbers.
Organizers have emphasized that, while the Day of Good Will originated in local churches, it is a community event involving any and all citizens.
