Dennis Woodward of Cowley got his blood drawn by nurse Kristi Schneider along with 633 other people who had their blood drawn this week as part of the annual Health Fair at North Big Horn Hospital. The reduced-price blood draw allowed participants to get preventative tests at a fraction of normal cost. Participants will be able to pick up their tests and discuss their results at the upcoming health fair on Sept. 24. The Health Fair is at the Lovell Community Center this year from 9 a.m. until noon.
The Health Fair is a great opportunity for people to have their health status checked and to share lab results with their health care provider, a hospital spokesman said. Doctors and nurses from North Big Horn Hospital will be available at the fair to discuss lab results and answer questions people may have.
The Health Fair will also offer information for individuals who did not participate in the blood draw program.
The Health Fair is sponsored jointly by Wyoming Health Fairs and North Big Horn Hospital.
