North Big Horn County residents with commercial property for sale or lease will showcase their properties this Friday, July 20, during the first commercial property open house, sponsored by Lovell Inc.
Director Sue Taylor said the open house is designed to showcase available commercial property in the area and is free of charge to property owners wanting to participate. Lovell Inc. will bear the cost of advertising the event.
The open house will run from 1 to 4 p.m. on July 20, and Taylor said owners would ideally be on hand and have the building open during that three-hour period. The Lovell Inc. building will be open to showcase the business incubator and to pass out maps.
“Property owners should contact us and we’ll compile a list and a map,” Taylor said. “We have a variety of properties available, some that are move-in ready and others that would take some work to suit the tenant. We’ll showcase property both for lease and for sale.
“It works very similar to a regular open house, allowing people to view a property from the inside and talk to a representative.”
Taylor said Lovell Inc. has run advertising in Billings, Powell, Cody, Casper and other areas to invite those who may wish to purchase or lease a property.
“That’s one of our roles (at Lovell Inc.), to do some property matchmaking,” Taylor said. “We felt it would be a fun and novel approach to do an afternoon with multiple available properties.”
