Harvey Herman Wagner, 84, of Powell, died on Nov. 28, 2012, at the New Horizons Care Center in Lovell.
He was born Aug. 4, 1928, in Deaver to John and Elvina Wagner. He was the seventh of 12 children. As a family they enjoyed picnics in their backyard and mountains, putting puzzles together and large family gatherings during holidays.
As a baby, Harvey was baptized and confirmed in Saint John’s Lutheran Church. During his childhood, Harvey worked in the beet fields in Deaver. He started working in the oil fields in his teen years and retired as a consultant many years later.
Harvey proudly served his country in World War II. During his service years in the Army, he also served with two of his brothers.
Harvey is survived by his wife Jeannie Wagner of Powell, brother Tom (Eva) Wagner of Lovell, sister JoAnn (Francis) Moody of Lovell, children Dahleine (Jack) Wild of La Center, Wash., Paula Cole of Cody and Michael Wagner of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren Brandon, Tracy, Jillian, Rand, Dominae and Abrae and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elvina Wagner, and brothers and sisters Johnny, Albert, Betty, Baby Sister, Harold, Ruby, Marie, Doris and Helen.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Powell. Internment was at Lovell Cemetery.
