Helen Marie Young

April 3, 1940 – March 22, 2013

Helen Marie Young died on March 22, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.  Helen was born April 3, 1940, in Henderson, Colo., to Charles and Buelah Jones, a railroad man and a waitress who worked hard all their lives.

She met her husband and best friend Gary in Denver and married him in August of 1958. They shared an old-fashioned love for nearly 55 years. It was the “til death do you part” kind of love.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Helen was a kind and a very dignified woman who lived by the motto “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved daughter Tammy and brothers Walt and Tom.

I’m going to miss my Aunt Helen. She was the sweetest Aunt anyone could ever have. I will always cherish the summer Me and my girlfriend Sandie went to Colorado to stay for awhile.I just wished I could have seen her more often but the miles separated us but not my love…I will never forget her. She will be forever and always special to me.My love and prayers are with you Uncle Gary and My cousins Julie and Randy and all the family. I am deeply saddened she is gone and will miss her greatly.
