Wanda June Anderson-Lowe was born May 6, 1950, to Sam and Majel Anderson in Fort Collins, Colo. She died April 24, 2013, in Salt Lake City, after a lengthy illness at the age of 62.
Wanda was the second of three daughters. She graduated from Rawlins High School in 1968. Afterward, she attended beauty school. It was in Rawlins that she met Bernard Lowe. They were married Oct. 22, 1971.
Wanda stayed home to raise two sons and one daughter. They settled down in Kemmerer in 1977. Later, she worked in Frontier, Wyo, for 15 years. After 32 years in Kemmerer, they moved to Lovell in 2009.
Wanda is survived by her parents Sam and Majel Anderson of Mills, husband Bernard Lowe of Lovell, children Kevin (Veronica) Lowe of Mount Vernon, Wash., Wayne (Sarah) Lowe of Powell and Sara Yeaman of Lovell, stepchildren Dan (Deb) Lowe of Craig, Colo., Diane (Rick) Wisniewski of Vancouver, Wash. and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Evelyn Ackerson.
Memorial services will be held Monday, May 6, 2013, at the Lovell LDS Stake Center, east chapel, at 2 p.m.
