The Lady Bulldogs varsity volleyball team travelled to Basin on Friday to win three straight sets against Riverside 25-12, 25-8 and 25-11.

“If you watched the first 10 minutes of the game you would have thought the results would have been different,” said Coach Stormy Jameson. “The score was 11-10 in favor of Riverside. The Lady Bulldogs committed 10 hitting, passing and blocking errors in the first half of the first set. So, it wasn’t like Riverside was beating us, we were beating ourselves and keeping them in the game. Once we eliminated a lot of those errors from happening, we were able to take care of business easily.”

Emilee Reasch had 9 kills, 5 blocks, 13 digs, 3 aces and 100 percent serving. Mercedes Haney had 7 kills, 2 blocks, 2 assists and 6 digs. Savanna Savage had 5 kills, 1 block, 2 aces and 100 percent serving.

Mykelle Nichols and Lauren Hinckley had 3 kills apiece after sharing time on the court. Charri McArthur had 27 assists and Chayli McArthur had 18 assists. They both served 100 percent and had 7 digs. Ashlee McIntosh had 4 digs and 100 percent serving.
