Ad (The Cowley Merc. Co.): During the present year we aim to be better than ever prepared to serve the trade of Cowley and vicinity. We have practically eliminated the credit system. If you want credit, you will find that department on the roof—take the elevator. The high standard of the quality of our good will be maintained and the doing away with the credit system will enable us to sell good cheaper than ever before.

The Bulldog’s Tale, Jan. 26, 1939

The Lovell pep squad does its best to entertain the spectators during the half. Why can’t others get enough “get up” to rise on the school song? It is your duty to stand and patronize your school. Come on students, and town folk, and help us make this the most successful hoop season of the ages.

The Lovell Chronicle, Jan. 30, 1964

Pic: This plaque, the J. E. Hanway award for General Excellence and Community Service, was presented to the Chronicle for 1963 at the Wyoming Press Convention in Casper the past weekend. The Chronicle was also given the 1st place award for best 2-color advertisement, and the 2nd place award for best personality-feature photograph.

The Lovell Chronicle, Feb. 2, 1989

A long-time Pacific Power employee in Lovell recently celebrated a special, silver anniversary. A little more than 25 years ago, Frank Jenkins joined the company as a journeyman lineman in Lovell.
