John Earl Adams, 50, of St. Anthony, Idaho, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho, from complications of cancer.
John was born April 29, 1964, in Lovell to J.W. “Bill” Adams and Winifred Ruth Avery Adams. He grew up in Lovell and St. Anthony. He graduated from South Fremont High School and Arizona Automotive Institute in Phoenix.
On June 6, 1987, he married Debbie Niendorf in St. Anthony. They lived in St. Anthony and Egin, Idaho, and had three children, Jamie, Nickolas and Cassie.
Throughout his life John worked as a mechanic, a machinist and a truck driver for Madison County. He was a member of the Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his Harley with his biker brothers and sisters and anything automotive. He spent time with his friends riding ATVs or sitting around a campfire. He always had an infectious smile and a hug for a friend.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Adams, of St. Anthony; his mother, Winifred Adams Campbell, of Powell; his children Jamie Adams, Nickolas Adams and Cassie Adams, all of St. Anthony, Courtney (Eric) Knoop, of Delano, Minn., and newest family member and exchange student Laura Young Seo Park, of Seoul, South Korea; sisters Judy (Jay) Clark, of Ralston, Linda (Bill) Miller, of Cowley, and Kris (Rick) Lucus, of Powell; mother-in-law Christine Scott, of St. Anthony, and one grandchild.
His father J.W. “Bill” Adams and an infant son Kevin Adams preceded him in death.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony. A picnic lunch at Keefer Memorial Park will follow.
