BPM and Fremont Motors win scholarship golf tourney

The Bentonite Performance Minerals team of Rod Winland and Neil, Bill and Morgan Baxendale won first place in gross scoring in the Brandin’ Iron Fairway for our Kids Golf Tournament Saturday at the Foster Gulch Golf Course near Lovell.

Second in gross scoring went to the Honeyman team of Eric Honeyman, Kayla Honeyman, Josh Sponsel and Brandon May. Third went to the Diamond J Bar team of Jay Bischoff, Jake Bischoff, Tim Marton and Brian Green.

The Fremont Motors team of Brian Bischoff, Kent Herren, Troy Butler and Chris Connally won first place in net scoring.

Second in net scoring went to the Miller Fabrication team of Levi Miller, Marc Neddermeyer, Casey Trautman and Mike McCollam. Third went to Brandin’ Iron number one team of Lori Graham, Jimmy Graham, Sam Wright and Craig Trumbull.

The teams winning deuces were Honeyman, Anderson Trucking, Shoshone Bar, Bentonite Performance Minerals, Brandin’ Iron number two, Diamond J Bar and Trevin Sungold Kennels.

Flag Prize winners were Sam Wright, Todd Baxendale, Pat Bacus, Brian Bischoff, Jake Bischoff, Bill Baxendale, Lynette Frost, Kayla Honeyman, Tom Cornwall, Karen Holcombe, Neil Baxendale, Cameron Frates and Eric Honeyman.

The tournament was sponsored by the Brandin’ Iron Restaurant, Nation Auction Service and other local companies with proceeds going to a scholarship for Lovell and Rocky Mountain students.
