To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range, the Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Center will hold their annual open house Saturday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Visitors Center east of Lovell.

Activities will include a demonstration and talk by Todd Nunn about taming and training wild horses at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Exhibits and refreshments will be available inside the center.

Culminating the celebration will be a concert sponsored by the PMWMC at the Lovell Community Center at 7 p.m. Kathy Bender of Killdeer, N.D., will tell the story and sing the songs of Patsy Cline.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. All proceeds will be used to support the PMWMC, an educational non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the Pryor Mountain Wild Horses and their range.
