Filings for the Nov. 4 General Election are still trickling in, although no one has yet filed for any of the four seats on the Lovell School Board, according to Annette Dillon, elections deputy for the Big Horn County Clerk’s Office.
Filing for the various non-partisan boards including school boards, hospital boards and other special district boards began Wednesday, Aug. 6, and continues through Monday, Aug. 25.

There are two at-large seats open on the board and one designated Lovell seat on the board.
As for the School District No. 1 Board of Trustees, incumbent Ed Riding has filed for his designated Byron seat on the school board, and Bill Loveland of Burlington has filed for the at-large seat on the board currently held by board chairman Bryan Lee of Frannie.
No one had filed for the designated Deaver-Frannie seat held by Russell Boardman as of Tuesday evening.
Five persons have filed for the North Senior Service District Board, Dillon said: Ruth Hecker, Agnes Haskins, Loretta Tippetts, Barbara Walker and Dueane Calvin.
Two incumbents have filed for re-election to the Big Horn County Fire Protection District No. 1 Board of Trustees: Keith Grant and Chad Petrich.
