Elese Jo Christopherson Brimhall Crosby of Cowley died suddenly at her farm in Cowley on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008.
Elese was born Oct. 30, 1932, to Grant and Olive Pearl Robinson Christopherson in Meeteetse.
She is survived by her husband Rodney Crosby; eight children, Keith Brimhall (Carol), Julie Ann Weinand (Michael), Sharon McCracken (Michael), Shannon Brimhall (Gail), Jolene Lynn (Ronn), Lance Brimhall (Heather), Lydia Beazer (Brad) and Sue Jensen (Doug); her sister Kay Lorin; and brothers Ivan, Jay, Don, Dee, Ken and Kim Christopherson. She has 33 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Keith; a son-in-law, Michael Weinand; a grandson, Chad Weinand; great-granddaughter Emilee Weinand; her sister, Lorna Dobson; brother Skip (Jacob Thor Neal) and her parents, Grant and Olive Christopherson.
The most important things to Elese in her life were her husband, her children and the gospel of Jesus Christ. She loved being at home on the farm.
Her children all in unison agree how much they loved their mother and will miss her and thank her for her example, pure love, tender touch and the teachings that are invaluable to them as they continue to live their lives.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those who have offered their support and thoughtful acts of compassion and sympathy.
Funeral services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cowley on Aug 16, 2008. Interment was in the Cowley Cemetery.
