Dear mother and grandmother, Margaret “Peggy” Kober of Lovell, died Aug. 28, 2008. She was 84.
Peggy was born April 20, 1924, to Clara and Henry Roth at Youngs Point outside of Park City, Mont., and was married April 15, 1950, to Henry Kober Jr. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Park City.
She is survived by her four children, Bethany Kober, Carol Brese, Laurie Durden and Chris Kober; two grandchildren, Claire (Marc) Dearing and Jordyn Kober; two sisters, Julia Fink and Sharon Roth; as well as nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
Peggy’s faith in Christ sustained and comforted her all her life. Besides her family, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, family gatherings, music and getting into the mountains around Lovell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister Lewina, Wilhelmina and Marie (Susie); and her brothers Jack and Gerry.
Memorials can be made to The Lutheran Hour, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lovell, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Park City or the charity of one’s choice.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m., at the Park City Cemetery. Pastor Chris Brandt of St. John’s Lutheran Church officiated. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell was in charge of arrangements. |
