Renea Eckert, 39, died unexpectedly Sept. 20, 2008, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings.


She was born Oct. 19, 1968, in Lovell, the daughter of Richard and Jauquina Nichols. She was raised and attended school in Lovell. Renea moved to Cody in 1993 where she met her husband of fourteen years, Jan.
She enjoyed staying home with her animals and listening to country music.


Her survivors include her husband, Jan; her father and mother; children, Yvette (Dino) Delacruz, Toney Croft, Monique Croft, Jan-Michael Eckert, Taleah (Jerry) Plake and Kellen Eckert; two sisters and six grandchildren.


Funeral services for Renea Eckert will be held Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at 10:30 at Ballard Funeral Home in Cody. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
