With her family by her side, Nina Wantulok died Wednesday, June 17, after a brief illness.
She was born in Mountain Lake, Minn. Sept. 9, 1923. At a young age, Nina’s family moved to Langdon, N.D., where they farmed. Upon graduation from high school, Nina attended nursing school in St. Louis.
Shortly after graduating she met John Wantulok; they were married in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, in 1948. She and John then moved back to Wyoming where they enjoyed 61 years of happy marriage. Nina remained active as a registered nurse in Wyoming until retirement. The family enjoyed the outdoors of Wyoming for many years.
Nina will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a very kind, loving, and considerate person. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John; sons Owen (Janice) Wantulok and Gary (Renata) Wantulok, both of Lovell, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
