Lovell High School students celebrated “A Touch of Class” during the 2008 Junior-Senior Prom at the LHS Johnny Winterholler Gym Friday night.
The west end of the gym was beautifully decorated in black, silver and hot pink as the juniors and seniors made their appearance for the grand march shortly after 9 p.m.
Ringed by their classmates, members of the junior and senior royalty, as voted by their fellow students, were crowned.
McKenzie Jameson was crowned the senior prom queen, with Josh Fink crowned king. First attendants were Katie Bassett and Braden Fink, with Brittany Winland and Jared Moen as second attendants.
Danielle Peck was crowned junior prom queen, with Scotty Jameson king. Lacee Bischoff and Steven Durtsche were first attendants, with Samantha Scheeler and Grant Geiser second attendants.
Members of the 2008 royalty were crowned by last year’s junior queen and king, Lauren Winterholler and Dane Robertson.
Bret Savage was the master of ceremonies for the evening, and crown bearers were Derek Parks, Shaelyne Ramirez, T.J. Scheeler, Colette Sanders, Bethany O’Tremba and Tyler Nicholls.
Junior class sponsors are Josephine Crosby, Jane Niemetalo and McKay Checketts. Senior class sponsors are Scott O’Tremba, Tawnya Teter, Denise Harrison and Cindy Asay.
Many prom attendees enjoyed a bowling party following the dance at Victory Lanes sponsored by the Big Horn County Health Coalition. |
