Wanda Merle Isakson Frazier

April 2, 1938 – Jan. 26, 2021

Wanda Frazier was born in Billings, Mont., the daughter of Leonard and Dagny Isakson.  She was a twin sharing her birthdate with her brother Wallace.  She was the youngest of five sisters and younger brother Larry.  She was educated in Columbus and graduated from there.  After graduation her older sister Patti helped her get a job in Billings working for the Yellowstone Boys Ranch.  It was there in Billings that she met her husband Paul Frazier through one of her girlfriends, Charlene, who was married to Paul’s cousin Norm.

Paul and Wanda were married on Sept. 24, 1960.

Wanda and Paul lived in Montana for a few years but their home was in Wyoming where they settled in 1967 living in Lovell, Worland and eventually Greybull/Basin area of Wyoming.

Wanda was a wife, mother and homemaker.  She was very strong in her faith in Jesus and was always teaching her children about Jesus, studying her bible and singing hymns.  She ran a tight household and her children learned how to run a home and work hard.  She loved going to any sporting event to watch the kids and grandkids play ball.  She loved going out in the hills with Paul and looking for arrowheads. She also had fun with her good friends in the Bighorn area hitting the local garage sales. After Paul passed away in 2019 Wanda moved out to Oregon to live with her daughter Latahana.  She loved life and never wanted to miss anything.  She loved her rides with her son-in-law Ben and she loved all the beautiful flowers and colors of spring in Oregon.  She was always going out with her daughters to go shop or to get her hair and nails done.  Wanda passed away peacefully knowing she would see her Savior in heaven and of course her husband Paul. She is missed deeply by those who survive her.

She is survived by her five children: Miki Irish (Rick), Ronald Frazier (Molly), Ken Frazier (Bobbi), Ray Frazier (LeAnne) and Latahana Coy (Ben); 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; sisters Patti (Don) Woodrich, Bonnie Doely; her brother Larry (Sue) Isakson; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and her good friends in the surrounding area of  Basin, Greybull and Worland.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, sisters Lolly, Kavanda and LeAnn Craig and twin brother Wallace when he was 3.

There will be no services at this time.  In leu of flowers, donations can be made to the Big Horn County Senior Center in Greybull, Wyo.
