Basin Area Food Pantry seeking meat donations

Meat is an item that the Basin Area Food Bank is seeking for the pantry.

Charlene Anderson said there is currently no meat in the pantry.

The community has been great in donating non-perishable items including canned meat. However, items such as hamburger, chicken, pork, etc., are needed.

Donated meat needs to come from a store and/or a USDA certified processer.

Paper items such as toilet paper and paper towels are also needed.

Thanks to a grant from the First Lady of Wyoming’s Hunger Initiative, the pantry has two large freezers for meat donations.
