Crawford and Jolley wed in summer ceremony
It is with great pride that Rod and Jodi Winland of Cowley and the late William Brian Crawford (in spirit), along with Bryan Jolley and Kathleen Croft-Jolley of Cowley announce the marriage of their children, Ethan Michael Crawford and Kiara Renae Jolley.
They have been high school sweethearts, and both bring out the best in one another. Now it’s happily ever after for Ethan and Kiara as they face all of life’s adventures.
Ethan and Kiara said “I do” in front of the people who love them most. They were married on June 22, 2024, in Lovell at the Lovell Community Center. Timothy Winland performed the ceremony and did an exceptional job. Tim was their middle and high school principal, as well as Ethan’s uncle. Tim got to watch the two grow up into responsible young adults, making it even more special.
Kiara is in the nursing program at Northwest College and works at both North Big Horn Hospital and the New Horizons Care Center. On occasion, she will wait on customers at the Bull Pub Restaurant. Ethan is employed by the Town of Lovell and attends Northwest College as well as Choice Aviation flight school in Cody. He recently earned his private pilot license. Ethan’s goal is to become a commercial airline pilot in the near future. Both Ethan and Kiara are driven and set their standards and goals high, and the family can’t wait to see what they both achieve in the years to come.
The couple had a honeymoon planned in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, the week after their wedding ceremony. The ceremony went so smoothly that something had to go haywire. After just two days in Mexico they got word that Hurricane Beryl was going to hit right over top of where they were staying. They tried to get flights out of Mexico, but to no avail. The hotel staff went around giving every person a box with one banana, one apple and one muffin and a bottle of water. They were instructed to stay in their rooms and in the bathroom as that was the safest place until notified otherwise. Ethan stayed up all night watching to see when the eye of the storm would hit them to make sure to take care of his bride. Getting out of Mexico is a whole other story. What a story it will be to tell their children in years to come.
Ethan’s grandparents are Linda and Daniel Ramirez of California and the late Billy Crawford, Ralph and Robyn Winland of Lovell, Connie and John Watson of Cowley and the late Jeff Pitcher. Kiara is the granddaughter of Edward M. and Louise Croft of Cowley and Gary and Julie Jolley of Lovell.
