The Lovell High School SkillsUSA chapter delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 Wyoming State SkillsUSA Championship, held April 14-16 in Casper.

Lovell was awarded High Point Chapter, making them the 3A state champions in their division. Students competed in a wide variety of career-based contests and collectively earned nine gold medals, five silver, and three bronze across numerous categories.

The team started off strong, sweeping all three medals in T-shirt Design and earning two medals in Advertising Design.

While competition is a big part of SkillsUSA, the Lovell chapter also stays active in community service year-round. Three-year officer Avery Layne expressed pride in the chapter’s accomplishments in both community efforts and at the state championships.

The Lovell SkillsUSA chapter continues to prove that hard work, teamwork and a passion for skill development lead to success—not just in competitions, but also in making a real difference in their community, Layne said.
