Police Report Fake Benjamin exposed and detained

The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of November 27 to December 3:
Nov. 27: 9:06 a.m.- An older sister on Hampshire Avenue called in to express concerns about her minor sister hanging out with a family member who is a sex offender. PD advised the sisters to avoid the sex offender and email any evidence of illicit activity with the minor to the PD.
11:21 a.m. - A citation for driving with a suspended license was issued to the driver of a 2007 Toyota.
12:57 p.m.- A teller at Bank of Lovell was handed a fake $100 bill. The individual presenting the bill claimed they received the bill as cash back from Walmart. An officer confiscated the bill.
Nov. 28: 4:13 p.m.- A break-in was reported at the caller’s father’s house. The caller was notified that the appearance of a break-in may be due to an earlier welfare check and the father was at the hospital.
9:24 a.m.- A juvenile was reported to have stolen lemonade, juice, a burrito and a burger from Maverik on the night of November 27. Parents were notified, and the juvenile had to pay the store back for the items. He was trespassed from the property. Criminal charges were not pressed.
5:26 p.m.- A female driver backed into a male party at Maverik. She issued an insurance card that was not current and was cited for no insurance.
Nov. 29: 7:50 p.m.- An animal welfare check was requested for dogs on West 8th Street that appeared to be mistreated. After an investigation, the report was determined to be unfounded.
4:53 p.m.- Theft was reported at Lovell Apartments on Montana Avenue. The individual logged into their bank online after the first time in a while and found unapproved charges on their account. They were advised to talk to the bank.
Dec. 1: 1:37 p.m.- A caller reported that their license plate had been stolen from their car at Lovell Apartments on Montana Avenue.
8:44 p.m.- A white Ford sedan was reported to be idling in the parking lot by the ER entrance of North Big Horn Hospital since 6:45. The individual was contacted and said he had fallen asleep playing a game on his phone. He was later asked to leave and complied.
Dec. 3: 7:53 a.m.- A man on Montana Avenue was reported to be suicidal and refusing to leave an unidentified place. Officers responded and he voluntarily went to the hospital for a recommended evaluation. He was later discharged by the hospital.
2:48 p.m.- A caller reported worries that a bartender, who he had a past disagreement with, might have roofied his drink. The caller reported they had two drinks but became so disoriented they could barely walk. The case is under investigation.
3:31 p.m. - A citation for speeding was issued at Shoshone Avenue and West 7th Street to a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Note: The calls listed above were received by the Lovell Police Department.  Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
