‘Garden Party’ prom held at Rocky

Photos of students dressed to the nines, a grand march and choreographed promenade, the crowning of royalty and dancing to the theme “Garden Party” marked a successful 2025 Junior Prom at the Rocky Mountain High School auxiliary gym Friday night.

The evening began with photos by local professional Ramie Edwards, followed by the always popular grand march and junior promenade dance choreographed by Lacey Bassett, Val Crosby and Madison Grandalen.

Members of the junior prom royalty were announced and crowned as follows:

Fourth attendants: Will Watts and Emma Sponsel

Third attendants: Landon Pruett and Lauren Bassett

Second attendants: Tayt Beall and Layla Gardner

First attendants: Coby Wachob and Emma Collins

King and Queen: Triffen Jolley and Taylor Gifford

Following the royalty dance, spectators departed, and students danced to the music of DJ Logan Moore, followed by a post-prom bowling party for juniors and seniors and their dates at Rose City Lanes.

The 2025 Junior Prom was organized by junior class sponsors Vicki Arnold, Anna Anderson, Aric Hanusa, Colton Hodge and Josh Sponsel.
