Bassett new agent at Brand Above Real Estate

A real estate agent with four years of experience has joined the team at Brand Above Real Estate in Lovell. Joseph “Joey” Bassett was announced as a new agent this week by broker Becky Perkins, joining Perkins and Jennifer Steed at the Brand Above office.

A native of Lovell, Bassett has worked in real estate since 2021, he said, and is a licenced associate broker in the state of Wyoming. He was raised on the family farm east of Lovell.

“For my whole life I have been surrounded by agriculture and entrepreneurs,” Bassett said. “I grew up working on anything and everything around the farm and found a passion for fixing all things. In 2018 I graduated from Casper College with an associate degree in diesel mechanics and began working as an ag mechanic for Western Sugar. I wanted to become more diverse in my knowledge, skills and investments, so in October of 2020 my wife Tori and I purchased our first rental property in our hometown of Lovell.

“By April of 2025, we have grown our real estate portfolio to 19 residential rental properties and 31 storage units. Real estate has been a longtime interest of mine, and I am excited to continue growing and investing in that area. Tori and I have two young kids. Our son, Baron, is 4 years old, and our daughter, Josie, is 3 months old. I am excited to share my knowledge and passions with them both as they grow. I love to fish and be outdoors and hope I can spend more time doing what I love with my family.”
