Baxendales have the hot hand at foundation golf tourney
Members of the Baxendale family had the hot clubs during the annual North Big Horn Hospital Friends of the Foundation Golf Tournament Saturday at the Foster Gulch Golf Course, making up part of the top two teams.
The team sponsored by Midway Construction and Dirt Work was the tournament winner, with members Pete Baxendale, Brad Baxendale, Morgan Baxendale and Jake Lohof recording the top score of the day.
Placing second was the North Big Horn Hospital District #1 team of Todd Baxendale, McKay Baxendale, Eric Honeyman and Kirby Winland.
Finishing third was the Bairco Construction foursome of Cody King, Justin King, Charlie Cooley and Jesse Bassett.
A total of 19 teams competed in the tournament Saturday, with proceeds going to update the patient and hospice rooms in the hospital, foundation director Janet Koritnik said.
After the top three teams, other team sponsors were the Bank of Lovell, Bentonite Performance Minerals, Big Horn Federal, Billings Clinic IT, Built by Mike Construction, Family Vision Clinic, Fremont Motors – Powell, Groathouse Construction, Just Us, Kevin Winterholler, Lenhart, Mason & Associates, the Lovell Chronicle, North Big Horn Hospital District #2 team, S.E. Incorporated, TCT and Wilson Brothers Construction.
Flag prizes were won by Neil Baxendale, Eric Honeyman, Chelsey Kinser (two), Tim Marton, Isabel Montanez, Klete Kinser Sr., Ray Austin, Charley Cooley, Robyn Savage, Joel Peterson and Shane Durtsche.
