Brandon Scott Angell

April 6, 1990 – Sept. 25, 2024

Brandon Scott Angell, 34, of Lovell passed away September 25, 2024, at Billings Clinic.

Born April 6, 1990, in Waco, Texas, to David and Kimberly Angell, Brandon received his high school diploma from Lovell High School and also completed his business administration and computer science degree from Dickinson State University. Later he pursued a career in civil engineering.

Brandon spent his childhood hunting and fishing with his brothers, Garrett and Colton, and his dad. From T-ball and Little League to basketball and football, he always stayed active in any sport that was available.

While attending college in Dickinson, Brandon met his wife, Brooke (Monroe) Angell, in 2010 and married her on September 3, 2016, in Red Lodge, Montana. They were lucky enough to share many adventures to many states and relax on the beaches in Mexico every couple of years.

He and Brooke and their two dogs Lambeau and Sunny made time for several camping trips with friends and family every summer. Brandon’s favorite place to enjoy the outdoors was in the Big Horn Mountains outside of his hometown of Lovell.

You could always find Brandon involved in sports, especially his love of his favorite football teams, the Green Bay Packers (Go Pack go!) and the University of Wyoming.

Brandon impacted the lives of so many by always being the friend who showed up, the family member who never wavered and the person who always had a kind word and a smile. His love was felt by all who were lucky enough to know him, and whether in moments of joy or hardship, he had a way of making people feel seen, valued and welcomed.

Brandon was a man whose loyalty, kindness, humor and love touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a beacon of loyalty in a world that often forgets the value of standing by each other during the good and bad times. He leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty that will forever remain in our hearts.

Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched, in the laughter shared and in the bonds strengthened by his kindness.

We will miss him deeply, but we are forever grateful for the impact he made during his time with us. Rest in peace, Brandon. Your love will continue to live in our lives.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at the Lovell Community Center. Burial will be at 3 p.m., and a celebration at the community center will follow.
