Doris Jean DeGraw

March 26, 1933 – Dec. 7, 2025

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Jean DeGraw, 92, who left this world peacefully on December 7, 2025. Surrounded by loved and cherished memories, she closed a long and beautiful chapter filled with kindness, glory for God and unwavering devotion to those that she loved.

Doris was born to Charles and Ella Baughman near Snyder, Colorado, on March 26, 1933. She was the youngest of six children and the baby until the seventh was adopted.

Doris went through school in Snyder, then continued to college in Greeley, where she studied to be a teacher.

July 6, 1953, Doris gave her hand in marriage to Bill DeGraw, a handsome red-headed country boy. They made their home in LaBarge, Wyoming. Together they raised a family of three girls, Cris Carlson of LaBarge, Shirley Colyar of Byron and Jo Teal of Douglas, and a son, Rich DeGraw, of Crestview, Florida. Doris has seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and hundreds of children who call her Grandma Doris.

Her devotion to Jesus and love for the gospel has touched so many lives. Her giving spirit and heart for adventure will forever be remembered by all that knew her.

She was met in heaven by her husband, Bill, all six of her siblings and her grandson Jesse.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that monetary donations be made to the Bible Church of Lovell. Donations can be made in person at 56 East Main or addressed to The Point or the Shiloh Technical Institute at the address above or to the New Horizons Care Center in Lovell, attention Activity Department.

Cremation has taken place, and the family will hold services at a later date to be announced.
