Elma L. Jolley
Aug. 3, 1935 – Feb. 2, 2013Elma Lovina Zeller Jolley was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Lovell to Elmer Leroy and Phebe Louise Wheeler Zeller. She died on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.After growing up in northern Wyoming, Elma married Alan Dale Jolley on April 29, 1955. Six children were born to this union. Alan and Elma moved their family to Billings in March of 1965.Elma earned an Associate’s Degree in nursing in 1968. She provided nursing services at St. Vincent’s Hospital and later worked as a private nurse until she retired in 1994. She touched the lives of many people through her work and service.Elma is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Alan Dale Jolley, Sr.; her daughters Marianne (Scot) Stoddard, Janet (Clark) Lloyd and Lisa (Garth) Stevens; her sons A. Dale (Corene) Jolley Jr. and Dan (Jenny) Jolley; daughter-in-law Teresa Jolley; sisters Marian (Arnold) Brinkerhoff and Kaye (Larry) Coppock; brothers Brent (Louise) Zeller and Max (Cindy) Zeller.Elma has 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Jolley, her parents, her brother Ron Zeller and two granddaughters.Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 8, at 11a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2929 Belvedere in Billings.
