Holiday concert season begins

A busy Christmas concert season in north Big Horn County begins tonight (Thursday) with the Lovell Middle School and High School bands in performance at the Middle School Commons under the direction of new band director Jessica Schreiner.There will be two concerts next week, two the following week, two the following week and one concert and one drama performance the final week before the holidays.Here is the concert lineup:Thursday, Nov. 29 – Lovell Middle School and High School bands, 7 p.m., LMS Commons.Monday, Dec. 3 – Rocky Mountain Middle/High School choirs, 7 p.m.Tuesday Dec. 4 – Rocky Mountain Elementary School concert in two sections: grades K, 2 and 4 from 6:30 to 7 p.m., 1, 3 and 5 from 7:15 to 7:45 p.m.Monday, Dec. 10 – Rocky Mountain Middle/High School bands, 7 p.m.Tuesday, Dec. 11 – Lovell Middle School/High School choirs, 7 p.m., Lovell Community Center.Monday, Dec. 17 – Lovell Middle School drama presentation, Commons, 7 p.m.Tuesday, Dec. 18 – Lovell Elementary School K-3 program, 7 p.m., Hyart Theatre.By David Peck
