• A Basin man carded the season's first hole-in-one at Midway Golf Course.
• The Greybull Town Council hasn't finalized its budget yet — that's expected to happen Monday — but two of its employees made last-second appeals this week, with Police Chief Bill Brenner lobbying for the hiring of a sixth officer and Economic Development Director Jeff Thornton making a pitch for a BMX track/archery/fishing pond near the Art Schutte Sports Complex.
