Kane Bus Tour set for June 1

Tickets are on sale now for the annual Kane Bus Tour, sponsored by the Lovell-Kane Area Museum.

According to museum board chairman Karen Spragg, the tour will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, with participants meeting at the museum at 354 Oregon Avenue in Lovell.

The tour will take participants to the Kane townsite and interpretive trail, the Mason-Lovell Ranch, John Blue’s cabin and the Kane-Ionia Cemetery. Presentations will be given about the pioneers of the area.

The tour should end around 3 p.m., Spragg said. Those attending are asked to wear comfortable shoes and pack a lunch.
