Kenneth Herman Fink died Friday, June 2, at
St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings from complications following surgery. 

Ken was born in Lovell to Herman and Minnie (Doerr) Fink on March 1, 1943. He was the oldest of four brothers.

After graduating from Lovell High School, he attended the University of Wyoming, earning a degree in engineering.

On Aug. 5, 1967, he married Sherry Torghele at Bethel Lutheran Church in Lander.

Ken worked as an engineer for the Wyoming Highway Department for many years. He held several positions in Laramie, Cheyenne, Casper and Basin. After retiring in Basin, he worked for Big Horn County for several years.

He enjoyed being involved with his church and community.

After Sherry went with the angels on Nov. 12, 2021, his coffee friends at the Copper Corner helped him through a very difficult time. Thanks to all of you. Special thanks to Aspen and Jim Thomas, Charlie Weeks, Mark and Mary Hillman and Deaun Tigner for your help and friendship.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 54 years, Sherry.

Survivors include brothers Don Fink of Issaquah, Washington, Garry (Lori) Fink of Billings and Ron (Fay) Fink of Gillette; and numerous nieces and a nephew.

Cremation has taken place and services will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation to Grace Lutheran Church in Greybull would be appreciated. Condolences can be sent to The Fink Family, 4409 Doud Dr., Gillette, WY 82718.
