Letter to the Editor: Gratitude for the Lovell Bible Church’s Christ-like service
Dear Editor,
I would like to express my deep appreciation for the incredible service and example shown by the members of the Lovell Bible Church. Recently, they hosted a free Bible summer school for children ages 3 to 12, offering a fun and faith-filled experience for kids in our community. Every Christmas, they also put on beautiful presentations that uplift and inspire everyone who attends.
But their outreach doesn’t stop there. Through “The Point,” they open their doors to high school students during school hours, providing a safe and welcoming place to eat lunch—again, completely free of charge. Their generosity and dedication to serving others is truly remarkable.
What stands out most to me is the Christlike love they consistently demonstrate. In word and in deed, they reflect the teachings of Jesus. Their unity in purpose reminds me of a scripture where Jesus said, “If ye are not one, ye are not mine.” They truly live this message by being united in love, service and compassion.
Their actions bless many lives, and I am so thankful for their example. Our community is a better place because of their quiet, consistent service.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Linda Mayes
