Letter to the Editor: Thank you to our coaches

Dear Editor,

I would publicly like to thank our coaches and those who referee and support our youth.

I recently went by our middle school football practice. The difference they make on behalf of the young men will last a lifetime. I grew up in the Gus Gerhardt and Rich Nelson era. I still remember lessons taught, games we played. 

The same is true in high school. We have heard of other schools loosing programs because of lack of participation. I am glad and thankful of where we live and the heritage we have. Thanks, coaches.
