Letter to the Editor: Wyoming is full of good people

On Sunday, June 29, 2025, late in the afternoon, my rental car broke down about a half mile west of Crystal Creek Overlook.

Three families/couples pulled over to check on me and offered me water and snacks to get me through the night. I never learned anyone’s name, but I’ve been thinking of any way I can to say “thank you” to whoever they are.

So, if anyone reading this has heard an acquaintance mention running into a traveler with an east coast accent in a broken-down car on ALT-14, please convey my gratitude to them. Our world is a better place because we live alongside people like them, and I am forever thankful to all of them.

Most Sincerely,

Kenneth Visconti
