The Big Horn County Little League all-stars began the district tournament in Greybull on Tuesday evening with the majors team facing Cody in their first pool play matchup.

The Mustangs struggled at the plate, and two Cody pitchers combined for a no-hitter against Lovell to claim the 15-0 victory and drop the Mustangs to 0-1 in pool play.

The Major team is set to play the final pool play game against Greybull on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

For the Mustangs in the Minors division, they took on Riverton at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday to begin pool play. The Mustangs Minors won big, 18-1.

Their second match will be played today (Thursday) at 11:30 a.m. against Powell.

After the completion of pool play, teams will be seeded for a single-elimination tournament bracket that begins on Friday. The top two teams in each division will advance to the state tournament held in Lovell on July 23-26.
