LMS B team undefeated at jamboree
The Lovell Middle School B teams wrapped up their season Saturday at a jamboree against several tough opponents.
The seventh-grade team went undefeated, defeating all three opponents. Facing off against Riverton first, the seventh-grade team went 2-1 in sets, winning 25-11, 13-25 and 15-12. The team only went upward from there, going on to defeat Lander and Worland without giving up a single set. They beat Lander in all three sets 27-25, 26-24, 15-7. They then topped Worland 25-18, 25-17, 15-17.
The eighth-grade B team endured a few losses this weekend but left it on a good note. The team lost to Powell in two sets with scores of 18-25 and 22-25, as well as Lander with close scores of 22-25 and 25-27. However, the eighth-grade team managed to turn it around and end their season on a good note, beating Cody 2-1 with scores of 25-19, 17-25, 15-7.
This weekend the seventh-grade and eighth-grade A teams will wrap up their season at their respective Yellowstone Conference Tournaments, during which the Lady Bulldogs will play against several tough teams for a chance to come out on top of the conference. The seventh-grade team will play in Powell starting at 9 a.m. while the eighth-grade team plays in Worland at 9.
