Lundberg team captures LHS golf team tournament
A team with two former Lovell High School golf coaches and a former competitor captured the LHS golf team fundraising tournament Saturday at the Foster Gulch Golf Course.
Capturing the crown in gross scoring (without using handicaps) was the team of Craig Lundberg, Adessa Lundberg, Danny Wolvington and Charlie Marchant, who shot a 61 at the tournament. Wolvington and Craig Lundberg have coached the LHS team in years past, and Adessa Lundberg golfed for the Lovell team.
Placing second in gross scoring was the foursome of Kenley Wilson, Addison Bettinger, Julia Bettinger and Kevin Bettinger.
Taking first place in net scoring (with handicap) was the team of Kris Brimhall, Steve Coleman, Tom Bassett and Thomas Scott. Placing second was the team of Brenen Hinckley, Cason James, Carson May and Thomas Hinckley.
