NBHH Kid’s Fair huge success
North Big Horn Hospital held its semi-annual Kid’s Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, and despite a little inclement weather, the fair had its biggest turnout yet.
“It was by far the largest crowd we have ever had,” event coordinator Nick Lewis said. “We believe there were over 720 people that attended, and for this small area that’s a large gathering. We hold this event every other year to keep it fresh.”
There were a variety of booths this year that were very well received by the attendees and made the event fun but educational. North Big Horn Hospital District was well represented with several booths, along with booths from as far away as Billings, Cheyenne and Casper.
“I was very impressed that everyone that helped were willing to give up their Saturday to help us put on this event,” Lewis said. “There was great help from the NBHH staff to get this event ready and cleaned up afterwards. This is not a one-person event. It takes many people to put this together, and I appreciate every single one of them.”
The next Kid’s Health and Safety Fair is already scheduled for June 12, 2027.
