NBHH launches flooring renovation project
North Big Horn Hospital will begin a multi-phase flooring replacement project this month designed to refresh patient care areas throughout the facility, Foundation, Marketing and Grants Coordinator Payton Gambill announced Tuesday.
The project was scheduled to begin the week of July 20 in the outpatient hallway serving the laboratory and radiology departments before moving through other areas of the hospital in carefully planned phases over the coming months.
While work is underway, patients and visitors may notice temporary construction barriers, alternate walking routes and occasional construction noise, Gambill said. Hospital services will remain open, and every effort will be made to minimize disruptions to patient care, she added.
“Because this project will take place in phases, we want to keep our patients and community informed every step of the way,” Gambill said. “Beginning next week, we’ll share weekly project updates in the newspaper, on social media and throughout the hospital. Each update will highlight the areas where work is taking place, what visitors can expect during the week ahead and any temporary changes to entrances or walking routes.
“Our goal is to make this process as smooth as possible while continuing to provide the quality care our community depends on. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these improvements and look forward to sharing our progress with you throughout the project.”
