You can scarcely find a person now who is willing to admit he was there. It was a most miserable fake.75 Years AgoThe Lovell Chronicle, June 3, 1937A brief but impressive Memorial Day service was held at Cowley Monday evening when the monument erected by the Cowley Chapter of the American War Mothers in honor of the ex-service men of that community was dedicated. It contains a copper plate, which bears the names of all ex-servicemen who enlisted from Cowley, with stars by the names of the two who fell in France.50 Years AgoThe Lovell Chronicle, May 31, 1962Grand officers of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Wyoming will conduct the corner-stone laying ceremonies at the new high school building Sunday, June 10. Lovell Lodge No. 36, A.F.& A.M. has issued a special invitation to the general public to be present for this impressive ceremony. School district citizens should be proud of this new building. It is a show of their determination to provide a modern education for their children.25 Years AgoThe Lovell Chronicle, June 4, 1987Art Schatz has formed a new real estate company he’s calling Cottonwood Realty. The new business will be based out of his home for now, but he plans to open an office in Lovell in the near future. Cottonwood Realty will handle all kinds of real estate needs. “I’ve always loved and enjoyed my community, and with my background, I’ll be able to work that kind of property real easy,” he said. “And I get real enjoyment in seeing people get new homes.”
