Police Report: Christmas theft comes early
The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of November 13 to November 19:
November 13: 11:31 a.m. - A mom called in to report that someone had put a construction cone on her daughter’s car at Idaho Ave. An officer responded and took the cone off of the car. The vehicle was not damaged.
November 14: 5:02 p.m - A friend called in to report a verbal argument between a couple on West Main St. The friend reported the arguments had been getting worse. An officer made contact, and one individual left for the night.
November 15: 10:02 a.m.- A woman called to report kids kicking her fence and aggravating her dog. She filed a complaint against the juveniles.
November 17: 4:17 p.m.- A criminal trespass order at the Shoshone Bar and Grill was issued to an individual who had threatened one of the bar’s employees. The individual was reported to have hit the employee with a glass bottle. The case is under investigation.
5:04 p.m. - A theft was reported on Oregon Avenue. A woman went into her storage unit to get Christmas decorations, and she noticed someone took the majority of her items from the unit. The case is under investigation.
Note: The calls listed above were received by the Lovell Police Department. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
