Police Report: Dog bites post office employee

The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of November 27 to December 3:
Dec. 4: 10:37 a.m.- A male reported he had been scammed. The male was speaking to a woman online for a few months who said she had money from an inheritance. He put the check in the bank, after which the woman started demanding money. The man sent her $1,600. He was advised that it was a scam and to contact his bank for reimbursement.
7:05 p.m.- A caller reported that a dog had bitten a woman delivering mail on Washakie Avenue. The police said they would follow up.
Dec. 6: 1:32 p.m.- The Bank of Lovell called to report a counterfeit $100 bill. An officer confiscated the bill.
3:44 p.m.- First Bank of Wyoming called to report someone had tried to cash a fraudulent check from an online company that he was an employee of.
Dec. 7: 3:50 p.m.- Allan Isabell out of Converse County was arrested on a warrant at Shoshone Bar and Grill for failure to pay child support. The man was spotted in the bar after refusing to show up for a custody exchange.
Dec. 9: 4:06 p.m.- A welfare check was requested at Rose City West apartments due to a barking dog. An officer made contact and no problem was found.
Dec. 10 4:50 p.m.- A silver Nissan Altima backed into a utility flatbed trailer on East 3rd Street. The driver was cited for failure to stay in the lane of travel.
Note: The calls listed above were received by the Lovell Police Department.  Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
