Police Report: Dog jumps fence to start fight

The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of January 15 to January 21:
January 16: 1:24 p.m.- A scam was reported. An individual had called the reporting party asking for money for a discounted network through Dish Network. The reporting party called Dish Network and was told the call was a scam.
January 18: 8:51 p.m.- A hit and run crash was reported at Family Dollar. A Subaru Legacy owned by the Family Dollar had been left for three days. When the manager returned to the car, it was found to have been damaged. The case is under investigation.
January 19: 5:13 p.m.- A dog fight was reported at Bair’s Trailer Court. The neighbor’s dog jumped the fenced yard and started fighting with another dog. The dog owner of the attacking dog was cited for dog at large.

Note: The calls listed above were received by the Lovell Police Department.  Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
