Police report: Prowler flees when light turned on
The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of October 14 - October 20:
October 14: Police responded to a report on East 8th Street that a couple of dogs were fighting. Police determined it was nothing serious.
October 16: Police respond to a call involving fraud or a scam at Lovell High School. Police investigated the situation and determined it was a foreign threat and was just trying to install “fear” into the schools. Police determined it was nothing serious.
Police responded to a call of a suspicious person caught on someone’s camera on Road 12. Police could not locate a suspect.
October 17: Police responded to a trespassing call on Big Horn Avenue involving a brother and a sister. Police assisted the situation and determined no foul play.
October 18: Police responded to a call on Shoshone Avenue. A caller stated they saw a prowler at their house when they turned on their light. Once they turned on their light the prowler ran. Police were unable to locate.
Note: The above calls were received by the Lovell Police Dept. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
