Police Report: Two reports of attempts to steal catalytic converters lead to investigations

The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of April 15 - 21:
April 15: Officers received a report that two male juveniles were sprayed with a squirt gun from a passing car. The liquid appeared to be water.
April 16: Lovell Middle School conducted an active fire drill.
April 17: A resident reported being charged by two loose dogs. One dog nipped his left hand but did not break the skin. The owner of the dogs was given a verbal warning to keep his dogs under control.
April 18: Officers investigated a report of loud noise in an upstairs apartment. When they arrived, there was no noise.
Officers are investigating two incidents where an attempt was made to remove a catalytic converter from a vehicle. Both incidents are under investigation and may be related. The catalytic converter was not successfully removed in either case.
April 20: Police intervened in an argument between neighbors over the location of a property line.

Note: The above calls were received by the Lovell Police Dept. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
