Rocky Mountain prom goers enjoy ‘Las Vegas’

Rocky Mountain High School students danced the night away to the theme Las Vegas Friday night as the school hosted the annual RMHS Junior Prom in the school’s auxiliary gym.
According to junior class sponsor Tori Kidgell, the evening began with photos by Stacey Haslem at 6:30 p.m. for couples arriving early, and the grand march took place at 7 in the auxiliary gym, followed by the junior promenade dance choreographed by Lacey Bassett and Madison Grandalen.
The promenade was followed by the crowning of the junior royalty and the royalty dance, with royalty member parents joining in mid-dance.
After the ceremonies, parents were invited to depart, and the dance continued until 11:30 p.m. with music provided by DJ Logan Moore.
Assisting Kidgell with planning as fellow junior class sponsors were Christin Shorma, Eric Anderson and Daniel Robertson.
