Rodeo tradition continues at fair

The Big Horn County Fair Rodeo, the seventh stop on the Big Horn Rodeo Circuit, is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Big Horn REA Arena in Basin.  Gates open at 5 p.m.  

For those who haven’t attended in a while or are visiting, this rodeo features all the traditional events you’d expect including bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, ladies barrel racing, women’s breakaway roping, wild horse race, calf roping and ranch bronc riding. In addition are following junior rodeo events: steer riding, breakaway, barrel racing and bull riding.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate.

A dance featuring Buck WYOLD will follow at approximately 9 p.m.
