Budding children’s author Tianne Samson will be at the Lovell Branch Library Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. for a book signing and meet and greet.
A few copies of Samson’s books will be available for purchase, and more will be in print by Christmas, she said.
Refreshments will be offered.
Having formatted several children’s books as a graphic designer, Samson recently decided to take the plunge and write her own books.
Her first work is “I Hope They Call Me on a Mission,” inspired by her own son Carsyn being called to a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Her second book is “Sunny Finds True Happiness” about a sun ray who sets out on an adventure trying to find true happiness and discovers that happiness is found within oneself.
Both children’s books are illustrated in color and are written for approximately the second-grade level but provide a good message for any age, she said.
